"For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." - Romans 12:4-5
Through the leadership councils below, parishioners serve in various advisory functions to the pastor and/or parish staff. If you have feedback, would like to bring anything to the attention of a particular council, or have interest in serving a term, please reach out to the appropriate contact person.
The Pastoral Council is primarily a consultative body which supports the Pastor in reflecting on pastoral issues in the community and determining the spiritual direction of the parish. Member terms are for three years. The Council meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.
The Faith Formation Council addresses itself to the lifelong faith formation needs of the entire parish community – adults, young persons, and children. There are nine members, elected for three-year terms.
They meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
The Finance Council is a standing council of the parish as mandated by Rome. The members offer financial oversite and their technical skills in fiscal matters in an advisory role to the pastor. Members are appointed by the pastor. The pastor completes the membership of this council.
Finance Council usually meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
The Building & Grounds Committee is responsible for over-seeing the upkeep and maintenance of all parish property.
If you are interested in serving on this committee, or have mechanical or technical knowledge, please reach out!
