(For those who wish to but are unable to receive holy communion)
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.

Greetings in these turbulent times! We are well into our second week of “physical distancing” and shopping restrictions. The office staff and I are managing well. With a small number of people and lots of space in the office, the operation is going on as normal as could be expected with limited activity.
Thanks to those who have either dropped off financial support for the church or mailed checks in. Bills continue to be paid. We have received a bill for $23,500 to replace two of the heating/cooling units in the church, so we should have adequate temperature control when we are able to gather again. We will “borrow” from our savings account, since taking funds from our investment accounts (Sharing God’s Gifts) at this time didn’t seem to be a good idea. (Instructions for online giving are below.)
We have been working with the technology to live stream and record Masses on Sunday and weekdays. Somedays it comes out sideways, but one person commented that it might be appropriate in these times. Sometimes we’re backwards but haven’t been upside down yet. (Unfortunately, we don’t have any 12 year olds on the staff.) Thanks for your patience.
You are in my prayers each and every day. Please keep one another in your prayers and make an effort to reach out to folks who could use a friendly voice.
Blessings,
Fr. Greg
