Janet Bradford is a professional musician with a double Masters in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. After her first piano lesson, she shared her growing piano sounds at varying extended family gatherings then worked up some courage for funerals, weddings and other church liturgies and services at the age of twelve.
She spent countless years playing for elementary, high school, college and community musicals, accompanying kids for musical solos and contests, while continuing to play for the church in all of the five states she has ever lived. Finally, after ten years at Drake University as a Staff Accompanist, she said a peaceful goodbye to University life fully devoting her playing time to the Catholic Church.
She has taught all ages of piano students from preschool to aging adults, collaborated with voice and instrumental musicians of all ages and walks of talent, including professional musicians such as our Iowan proud Simon Estes.
ln addition to loving her very supportive husband Jeff of 36 years and their 33 year old daughter Heather who is a chef in Orlando, she loves Jesus Christ her Lord above all and is completely in love with the Catholic church, giving her life to varying ministries in it as she ages and grows in her faith.
